Invisible Players: Only possible in MP, but if you leave your name blank no one will know you've joined. I'd be interested to see if anyone else can find anything useful from checksum abuse.
If you're really feeling cheesy you can save after getting enough leadership points but before recruiting the general and continue loading it until you get a good starting general. The only useful thing I've noticed is that if you continue to change your checksum (by resigning and then starting a new game repeatedly) you can eventually get enough officer points to start the game with a general. This can also be used with cultural unions (declare for conquer before pan nationalists or garibaldi's win, example of result)Ĭhecksum Abuse: The checksum actually affects some starting variables. Liberate + Conquer: If you're at war with a country to conquer it, and then liberate it's cores from another country before peacing out with conquer, you end up conquering lots of land far quicker and cheaper.
So I'm looking for anything people have found that could qualify as an exploit or cheese.
